When we first meet with clients, after initial introductions, the first business question we ask a client is

Where do you want to take this business?

Clients may then reply: 

  • I want to able to buy a house
  • I want to be able to pay off my mortgage
  • I want to be able to buy a home in the sun
  • I want to have a proper retirement fund
  • I want to sell the business for £10 million

We then work with clients by setting milestones, establishing KPIs and benchmarks for the business so that these things are genuinely achieved.

Many accountants are merely interested in producing figures for you and making a profit on that work. At Calcutt Matthews, we genuinely believe that real satisfaction in a client relationship comes from helping clients make their dreams come true.
